No matter how much I prepare, this day inevitably finds me scrambling to get stuff done for tomorrow. The clothes are all bought down to the new socks and undies. The paper, anti-bacterial wipes and pencils are all ready stuffed in backpacks waiting for little children to lug the pounds of school supplies to their waiting teachers on their first day. My running around has to do with the need to have lockers decorated NOW, much needed ID badges (that aren't really necessary for those first few days, but are somehow MANDITORY during the rest of the year), and dealing with student services people who forget that the last part of their place of employment is SERVICES. Even with all that running around, I feel that God has sent me a gift in starting school on Tuesday in Kennewick. Knowing that Wednesday is the first day in the Pasco School District (the district I just moved from), He wanted to give me a little extra love by starting the school year one day earlier. He loves me!
